This is a very simple, but typical, PNR created by a travel agency. The only contact information is the address, phone number, and fax number (optional) of the travel agency. There is no requirement for any personal information about either passenger: the travel agency can function as a highly effective “anonymizing proxy” for the traveller. There is only one set of contact information in the PNR, even though there is more than one person (in this case, 2 people) in the PNR.

On the other hand, a real PNR (especially if it also included hotel, car rental, tour, etc. reservations and special service requests) could contain a great deal of additional personal information about the traveller(s). And a travel agency PNR often includes the entire “customer profile” of the traveller with that agency.

Additional information about the traveller and the travel agent making the reservations is contained in the audit trail or PNR “history” (not shown).
