CAPPS-II personal data flows. Each of the boxes is a system, and each of the arrows is a data interface, which would have to be upgraded to support the additional mandatory fields in each PNR required by CAPPS-II. Data is transferred between CRS’s and airline hosts, such as between the “Agency CRS” and the “Airline Host” (if the airline isn’t hosted in the same CRS as is used by the agency) by AIRIMP (Airline Interline Message Procedures) messages, as shown in the example that follows.
